During my trip to Toronto, there was an exhibit of Ai Wei Wei's work at the Art Gallery. I went with Ma and Shih Ah Yi (Aunt Pat). I thought the exhibit was interesting. Some of the pieces felt a little too obvious but most of them were interesting, with quite a few related to the Sichuan earthquake disaster. Ma and Shih Ah Yi both had a different take, being more skeptical of him, and feeling like he was all self promotion.
